Eligibility Criteria of mission Bhumiputra
The scheme mentions that the eligibility of the applicant has been discussed :
- an Indian citizen
- permanent residents of Assam
- applicants are Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes or OBCs/MOBcs. Must be of anyone in the class
How to Apply for Assam Caste Certificate :-
Applicants can easily apply for caste certificate through the steps given below-
- First of all, visit the official website of the Bhumiputra.assam.gov.in
- The home page of the official website will be opened as follows
- We’ll see the option of” Login” on the page, click on it.
- Now we’ll see the option of “New account” on the page , click on it .
- Enter all the information asked in the application form such as state, gender, name, mobile number, email, village, pin , pan or voter ID number etc. and click on the “Register” button.
- After successfully registering, click on login option.
- Now , enter the username and password , Click on login option .
- Now click on new application form option
- Enter all the information asked in the application form
- Upload your all required documents
- Now click on the “Submit” button.

- Proof of Date of Birth (One of Birth Certificate/ Aadhaar Card/ PAN/ Admit Card issued by any recognized Board of Applicant
- Proof of Residence (One of Permanent Resident Certificate/ Aadhaar Card/ EPIC/ Land Document/ Electricity Bill/ Ration Card of Applicant or Parent)
- Caste Certificate of Father OR Recommendation of authorize caste/ tribe/ community organization notified by State Govt.
- Any other document (Voter List, Affidavit, Existing Caste Certificate, etc.)
- Scanned Copy of the Application Form.
