NHM Assam Recruitment 2026 Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess any one of the following qualifications in the concerned speciality.

Broad Speciality

Applicants should have:

MD/MS/DNB/MDS in the concerned subject from a recognised University/Institution.
Valid registration under the National Medical Commission (NMC) or Assam Medical Council.

For subjects like Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology and Pharmacology, candidates possessing the qualifications mentioned in the notification are also eligible.

Super Speciality

Candidates should possess:

DM/DNB in the concerned Super Speciality.
M.Ch./DNB in the concerned Surgical Super Speciality.

Age Limit

The upper age limit is:

45 years as on 01 January 2026.

Age relaxation will be applicable as per Government rules.

Pay Scale

Selected candidates will receive salary under:

Pay Band: ₹57,700 – ₹1,82,400

Academic Level: Level-10

Other allowances will be admissible as per Government rules.
